Job Summary:

The Shipping Clerk at All Star Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Bridgeton, Missouri is a part-time, hourly position within the auto industry. This role is an individual contributor role with a weekly compensation of $15 per hour. The main responsibility of the Shipping Clerk is to ensure the timely and accurate shipment of parts to our customers. This role will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming vehicles and prepare them for shipment by thoroughly inspecting, detailing, and adding necessary documentation
2. Coordinate the delivery of vehicles to customers, as well as transfer vehicles to different locations
3. Ensure all paperwork and documentation is accurate and complete for each shipment
4. Communicate with different departments, such as Sales and Service, to prioritize and schedule vehicle shipments
5. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shipping and receiving areas
6. Document and report any damages or issues with vehicles
7. Assist with other dealership tasks or projects as needed

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Previous experience in shipping, inventory, or logistics preferred
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills
5. Basic computer skills
6. Ability to work well in a team and independently
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
8. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
