Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Frequency of Alerts: Select how often (in days) to receive an alert.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist supervisor in outlining daily shipping schedules and coordinate with truck lines for freight pickup.
2. Assist in loading outbound LTL shipments, directing forklift operations for correct material placement.
3. Label and count all freight accurately, maintaining necessary documentation to meet company and D.O.T. requirements.
4. Ship and receive materials, verify counts, and ensure proper labeling using appropriate shipping documentation devices.
5. Review inbound and outbound shipments for correct counting and loading.
6. Maintain inventory records via PRISM system.
7. Ensure shipping documents are correctly processed and maintain records following cGMP and ISO procedures.
8. Assist in preparing inventory records and perform cycle counts.
9. Ship materials using A-release/Stock Tag systems, verifying counts.
10. Maintain inventory transactions in Prism system.
11. Load and unload trailers as needed.
12. Weigh raw materials during receiving.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Required:

• Ability to read and understand instructions, safety labels, and manuals.
• Basic math, writing, and data entry skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of shipping experience.
• Experience with hazardous materials.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience with PRISM or similar systems.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift approximately 60 pounds and climb heights up to 10 feet.
• Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
