Job description

Looking to take the next step in your career? Staffmark is hiring a Shipping Clerk in Addison, IL, and we're looking for motivated individuals ready to grow in a stable, full-time role. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and have prior shipping experience, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

As a Shipping Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped in a timely manner. Duties include shipping packages via UPS and FedEx, assembling and packaging customer orders, applying postage using our scale and computer system, and fulfilling special packaging requests. You'll also complete shipping reports, retrieve necessary paperwork from the repair department, monitor packing supply levels, and report shortages. Attention to detail is important to catch and correct any shipping errors.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of previous shipping experience


• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly


• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software/systems


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
