Essential Job Functions

Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking documents through careful audit of said documents.

Prepare reports, manage shipping schedules, and perform other administrative tasks.

Assist in resolving any discrepancies.

Help with or complete special projects at the discretion of the Lead or Supervisors.

Answer/route all telephone calls in a polite manner, taking messages and routing to proper individual in a timely manner.

Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up of goods.

Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.

Assist in training new associates.

Qualifications

Must have at least one-year experience in Transportation or Logistics industry

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience with E-1 preferred, but not required

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Good understanding of LTL shipments, Bill of lading, and PO processing.

Good record keeping and organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
