Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Houston to support fabrication and welding teams. You will prep materials, maintain accurate inventory counts, know part locations, manage receiving and staging, and help improve the flow of customer orders throughout the facility.

The role requires operating a forklift, reading part drawings, loading/unloading trucks, and participating in job tracking. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with health insurance, annual bonus, and 401(k) matching; a strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Strong Experience with a forklift
• Experience loading flatbed trucks
• Previous experience in shipping and Receiving
• Good dexterity of hands
• Ability to handle metal parts and insulation and be physically sound for repetitive bending and lifting
• Ability to count, calculate, read warehouse map with bin locations
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices

Cooperates with:

Welding, Fabrication, Substrate, Assembly, Shipping

Primary Responsibility:

The shipping/receiving clerk assists the fabrication and welding teams in a manufacturing setting. The prepping of materials, accurate inventory counts, knowledge of parts' locations, receiving process, and staging job orders is essential in the flow of customer orders throughout the building as well as improves labor performance of departmental teams.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
