Aerotek is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for a contract role in Racine, WI. 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with minimal OT. You will load/unload trucks, prepare shipments, and support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a physically active environment.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for safely handling materials, loading and unloading trucks, preparing shipments, and supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a sit-down forklift, working in shipping and receiving, and performing hands‑on material handling in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

This is a physically active position that involves moving large materials, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring products are properly prepared and secured for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.
• Prepare, pack, and stage products and materials for outgoing shipments.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against shipping documentation.
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Move and organize materials throughout the facility to support production needs.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking.
• Build crates, band materials, and secure loads for safe transportation.
• Pick, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform deburring and other material preparation tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with crate building, banding, and load securement.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Experience handling large steel beams or other heavy industrial materials.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
