Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver at our Salt Lake City, UT facility. You will ship, receive, and stock finished goods to fulfill customer orders, operating ERP systems and various equipment on a swing shift (12:00pm–9:00pm).

Responsibilities include pulling, packing, palletizing, labeling, and maintaining accurate inventory while upholding strict safety and quality standards across all shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet (70%).
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment (70%).
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards (70%).
• Receive, stock, and rotate product (70%).
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory (70%).
• Create and apply documents for each pallet/shipment (10%).
• Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
• Other duties as assigned (10%).
