Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Stockton, CA, is hiring a Shipper/Receiver. You will handle shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods to fulfill internal and external orders. The role requires forklift operation, order picking, replenishment, SAP or similar ERP, and a minimum of one year in warehouse/logistics.

This full-time, union position offers a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Safety-conscious team environment with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• PIT Certification and HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year warehouse, logistics and/or shipping experience required.
• Experience operating forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, check, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory. (70%)
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment. (10%)
• Maintain a clean work environment. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned. (10%)
