Job summary

Lucas Milhaupt, LLC, based in Wisconsin, is seeking personnel for a 2nd shift shipping/receiving role. The position involves handling inbound material, logging into ERP, forklift operations, and coordinating with Purchasing for incoming products.

The role requires familiarity with export documentation, FedEx/UPS shipping systems, Microsoft applications, and ERP usage. It emphasizes safety, proper material handling, and accurate cycle counts in a on-site facility at Cudahy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years' experience preferred.
• Familiar with Export regulations & documentation, and shipping systems (FedEx/UPS).

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming material and log into the ERP system accordingly.
• Use a forklift or hand truck to move incoming material.
• Communicate with Purchasing or Department Leads regarding incoming product.
• Ensure order-specific requirements are fulfilled before shipping via FedEx, UPS or other handlers.
• Check material requirements, log and coordinate with the material coordinator prior to stocking raw material receipt.
• Operate and perform daily equipment checks and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear provided protective gear.
• Perform shipping office functions, receiving and cycle counts as needed.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, perform various functions within shipping office to include shipping/packing and paperwork.

This position is on 2nd shift, with hours of Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming material and log into the ERP system as appropriate.
• Use a forklift or hand truck to move all incoming material.
• Communicate with Purchasing or Department Leads regarding incoming product.
• Ensure all special requirements per order are taken care of prior to shipping using FedEx, UPS or special shipping handler.
• Check material requirements, file and communicate with the material coordinator prior to stocking raw material receipt, also assign locations on stocked items as needed.
• Understand and operate all equipment and perform daily equipment checks.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the cell and keep all equipment meticulously clean to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
• Follow all safety precautions and wear protective equipment and clothing as required.
• Able to perform shipping office functions, receiving and cycle counts as necessary.

Requirements:

• Familiar with Export regulations & documentation.
• Fedex/UPS shipping systems.
• Microsoft Applications, ERP systems.

Physical Expectations:

• Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs throughout the shift, and occasionally 50.
• Ability to operate and maneuver hoists for material loads of 200 lbs.
• Ability to frequently push 200+ lbs on wheels.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, and reach throughout shift.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years' experience preferred.

This position is based on site at our facilities in Cudahy, Wisconsin. It is a manufacturing company, and the Pricing Analyst will work with a diverse population in both office and production settings.
