Job summary

Lucas Milhaupt is seeking a warehouse shipping/packing associate for 2nd shift in Wisconsin. The role will support the shipping office, log incoming material in the ERP, and ensure accurate paperwork.

You will operate a forklift, move material, coordinate with Purchasing, and prepare shipments with FedEx/UPS while maintaining safety and housekeeping in the work cell.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping/packing and paperwork processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming material and log into ERP.

• Assign locations and stock material, and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain equipment housekeeping and follow safety rules.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, perform various functions within shipping office to include shipping/packing and paperwork.

This position is on 2nd shift, with hours of Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming material and log into the ERP system as appropriate.
• Use a forklift or hand truck to move all incoming material.
• Communicate with Purchasing or Department Leads regarding incoming product.
• Ensure all special requirements per order are taken care of prior to shipping using FedEx, UPS or special shipping handler.
• Check material requirements, file and communicate with the material coordinator prior to stocking raw material receipt, also assign locations on stocked items as needed.
• Understand and operate all equipment and perform daily equipment checks.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the cell and keep all equipment meticulously clean to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
• Follow all safety precautions and wear protective equipment and clothing as required.
• Able to perform shipping office functions, receiving and cycle counts as necessary.
