Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Specialist, Training Governance to support the execution and day-to-day governance of shipboard Learning & Development training requirements. You will coordinate governance actions, ensure system configurations align with approved standards, and support audit readiness across vessels.

In this role you’ll partner with Fleet L&D, Learning Systems, and shipboard stakeholders to clarify requirements, maintain governance documentation, and drive consistent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Planner to track tasks and projects.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint to access governance docs.
• Experience with GLADIS (LMS) and CPS or similar HR systems.
• Ability to synthesize data from multiple systems to support readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support shipboard training governance by implementing approved decisions and coordinating communications.
• Maintain governance documentation, standards, and reference materials.
• Assist with audits, re-certifications, and governance remediation actions.
• Support LMS configuration and reporting logic related to training requirements.
