Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Specialist, Training Governance to support shipboard Learning & Development governance, partnering with Fleet L&D, Learning Systems and stakeholders to ensure training requirements are clearly defined and executable aboard ships.

This role emphasizes governance documentation, LMS configuration reviews, audits readiness, and coordination of governance actions across multiple stakeholders, travel 25-50%, and in-office Miami area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Planner to track work and synthesize information.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint or similar knowledge management platforms.
• Experience with shipboard LMS (GLADIS) and CPS or comparable HR systems.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple systems to support training readiness.

Responsibilities

• Supports shipboard training governance by implementing governance decisions and coordinating communication.
• Maintains governance documentation, standards, and reference materials.
• Supports audit readiness and coordinates governance actions across stakeholders.
• Assists with LMS configuration, reporting logic, and training compliance evidence.
• Analyzes requirements and presents summaries to inform governance discussions.
