American Cruise Lines is seeking a Lead Line Cook to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season aboard America’s rivers. You will assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following menus and dietary requests to deliver first‑class dining at sea.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, line cooking experience, and the ability to live aboard with a demanding schedule. Onboard living quarters, competitive benefits, and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel & Restaurant Management.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience at a full-service restaurant, hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Must have “Line” experience with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and buffets.

Responsabilités

• Commitment to inventory control and minimizing food waste through standardized recipes.
• Ensure all special requests and allergies are acknowledged, prepared and served.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation policies within the galley.
• Provide gracious hospitality to guests and crew while maintaining safety and professionalism.
• Follow the Chefs Manual standards and procedures and assist in galley operations.
• Lead and supervise galley stewards and ensure efficient daily tasks.
