American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, seeks a Lead Line Cook for the 2026 river season on America’s rivers. You will help with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, supporting the Executive/Sous Chef and ensuring meals align with menus and dietary needs aboard a moving vessel.

Living onboard provides comfortable quarters and a dynamic culinary environment. Candidates should have strong culinary credentials, line experience across meals, and proven leadership of a small

Formación

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a full-service setting (restaurant, hotel, cruise ship).
• Line experience with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and buffets.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Commit to inventory control and minimizing food waste using standardized recipes.
• Acknowledge and prepare all special requests and allergies.
• Follow food safety/sanitation policies in the galley.
• Provide gracious hospitality to guests and crew while staying safe and efficient.
• Adhere to Chefs Manual standards and procedures.
• Lead a team of galley stewards and coordinate daily ware washing.
• Ensure proper storage, ordering, and receipt of supplies.
