Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Management Systems Coordinator - IT for the Groton, CT area. The role supports shipboard submarine IT systems, networks, and hardware, with RMF artifacts and security plans. Domestic travel up to 25% is required.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting IT issues, clear technical communication, and coordinating multiple IT projects while working with Active Directory and diverse network topologies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or related field, or 3–5 years IT experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53.
• Experience with the full RMF lifecycle (NIST 800-37).

Responsibilities

• Expert critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex IT issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical information to non-technical staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work with Active Directory, various networking topologies, and group policy.
