Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking a Management Systems Coordinator - IT to maintain and optimize shipboard IT systems and test support equipment. This hands-on role ensures applications, networks, and hardware are reliable, secure, and available with minimal disruption to operations.

You will develop and maintain system security plans, POA&M, and RMF artifacts, supporting the RMF process and DoD security requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or 3–5 years IT experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-53.
• Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Proficient with Windows Server, Linux, and real-time operating systems.
• Familiar with NIST 800-171 and RMF lifecycle (NIST 800-37).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize shipboard submarine IT systems and test support equipment.
• Ensure applications, networks, and hardware are reliable, secure, and continuously available.
• Develop and maintain system security plans, POA&M, and RMF artifacts.
• Support RMF risk management activities through documentation and compliance.
