Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an HVAC - Refrigeration Engineer to oversee maintenance, repairs, and projects for HVAC and refrigeration onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel. You will supervise the Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and the Air Conditioning Team, reporting to the First Engineer, Level 2.5 stripes officer.

This shipboard role requires genuine interest in life at sea, safety responsibility, and willingness to share crew accommodations.

Qualifications

• HVAC qualifications related to shipboard systems.
• EPA certification is required.
• Experience in shipboard or maritime environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems onboard.
• Forecast and record all work using AMOS and AIMS systems.
• Supervise Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and the Air Conditioning Team.
• Ensure leak prevention and EPA compliance of refrigerant/glycol systems.
• Interact with guests, crew and shore personnel to uphold Show Quality Standards.
