Job summary

Disney Cruise Line in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC - Refrigeration Engineer to maintain and improve onboard HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will supervise the Refrigeration Assistant Engineers and the Air Conditioning Team, report to the First Engineer, and ensure safety, quality, and guest comfort at sea.

This shipboard role requires willingness to live and work aboard, pass medicals, background check, and operate in a multicultural crew environment while upholding GSM

Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC qualifications.
• EPA certification.
• Shipboard or maritime industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, repair and performance of main A/C chiller plant and associated systems.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, repair and performance of fan coil A/C systems and supervisor systems.
• Maintain the central refrigeration system and brine chiller units with related controls.
• Ensure safety, compliance with EPA rules and GSM/SQS standards, and guest/crew satisfaction.
• Use AMOS to forecast, implement and record work; use AIMS for tracking deficiencies and feedback.
