Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Crew Members for the 2026 season to work aboard our ships in the shipboard hotel, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing our brand. This is a temporary 28‑week position with pay from $1,000 to $1,400 per week and potential bonuses.

We cover travel, room and board, uniforms, and training, with over 50 itineraries across 35 states available for crews along America’s waterways.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, pre-employment drug testing is required for shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on board, training includes safety responsibilities.
• Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings; 28-week temporary employment period.
• Successful individuals work well under pressure in a shipboard hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a personalized, high-quality dining service.
• Set up and break down meals and events.
• Greet guests by name, offer menu/wine suggestions, and answer questions.
• Maintain safe and welcoming guest areas, including staterooms and common spaces.
• Support special events like embarkation, tea service, and cocktail parties.
