Job summary

Serco Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an Electrical Tradesman to join a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.

You will fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic assemblies, following safety procedures and blueprints. The role requires US Citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, and experience with power tools and wiring.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Background check and drug screening as part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble shelters, subassemblies, chassis and mechanical parts.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams and assembly drawings to fabricate electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
• Operate power tools and apply safety practices during installation and repair.
• Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in a demanding environment.
• Review modification instructions and perform rework as needed.
