Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Ability to access shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), pass background check and drug screening.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Respirator qualification and PPE use.
• Experience in electrical work and shipboard environment.
• Two years of combined experience in attaching fiber optic, RJ-45, DB connectors.
• Ability to read drawings (Tradesman level).
• Knowledge of QA procedures and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions.
• Conduct various tests or experiments and modify setups as needed.
• Perform electrical work on ships, boats, and marine equipment.
• Gather and maintain engineering data records and plots.
• Carry out routine tests and operate test equipment, recording data.
