The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to gain experience in management, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles. These leadership positions support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance, while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager on site, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 20
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
