Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its Thermomechanical Treatment Facility to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations during the assigned shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee boilers, turbines, and steam plant equipment while supervising plant personnel.

You will enforce safety protocols, manage routine inspections, and coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled outages to maintain continuous production and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASME Provisional License required or obtainable.
• Site-Specific Operator’s License within 6 months of employment.
• 5+ years in power plant operations or supervision.
• Ability to work flexible 24/7 shifts.
• Strong knowledge of steam-generating power stations and control systems.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to train staff.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and direct daily operations during the shift.
• Supervise plant personnel to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Enforce safety procedures and environmental compliance.
• Lead emergency response when needed.
• Oversee production and maintenance, coordinating outages.
• Identify improvements to enhance plant efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
