Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient operation of our facility on a 12-hour rotating shift in the USA. You will monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with environmental permits.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong safety focus, and the ability to coordinate maintenance and emergency responses while delivering reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable; hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain and maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument/control systems.
• Troubleshooting, training personnel, and interpreting logic diagrams.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate actions supporting Reworld values and safe workplace.
• Maintain safe environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Keep plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
• Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and manage a capable, flexible workforce.
