Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Thermomechanical Treatment Facility. You will oversee plant operation during your shift, monitoring boilers, turbines, and steam equipment while supervising Control Room and Operator staff to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in power plant operations or supervision, ASME licensing, and flexibility to work 24/7 shifts. Advanced knowledge of control systems and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• ASME Provisional License must be held or obtained.
• Site-Specific Operator’s License within 6 months of employment.
• 5+ years of hands-on power plant operation and/or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts to cover 24/7 operations.
• Experience with steam-generating power stations and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and direct daily work activities of the operations group during the shift.
• Supervise, train, and develop plant personnel for safe, efficient operation.
• Enforce safety procedures and policies within Operations and support teams.
• Initiate emergency response procedures when needed to ensure safety and compliance.
• Oversee production and maintenance activities, plan outages, and ensure timely task completion.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve operational, administrative, and technical issues.
