Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager in Restaurant Initiatives (MGRI) to oversee daily operations across restaurant locations, supervise associates, and participate in hiring decisions in coordination with the General Manager.

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts and a strong knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary and safety standards including HACCP. Company-wide benefits and growth opportunities are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work shifts on various operating days and hours.
• Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within one or more restaurant points-of-sale.
• Participate in interviewing and input on hiring, promotions or terminations with GM.
• Assign tasks and prepare schedules to ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensure mandated rest breaks and meal periods are observed.
• Maintain clean, stocked and visually appealing display areas.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and cash is handled per policies.
• Monitor wellness and safety procedures and report concerns to GM.
