Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate who can open and close the store in the manager's absence, handle cash accurately, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. You will process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers while delivering a standout customer experience.

The role also involves assisting with inventory, pricing changes, and maintaining store conditions.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
