SCO Family of Service in Lindenhurst, NY is seeking a residential supervisor to oversee shift operations and staff, ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies. The role requires ensuring adherence to treatment plans, coordinating activities, and maintaining safety and documentation throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or higher, 2+ years in developmental disability programs, strong communication skills, and a NY driver's license.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required; Associates/bachelor’s preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
• Good management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid New York state driving license.

Mansioni

• Provide supervision to staff during shifts and assign responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure program operates in accordance with regulations and agency policy.
• Ensure individuals’ treatment plans are followed and monitored.
• Provide direct support services as needed.
• Monitor individuals’ health and safety throughout the shift.
• Maintain diet and nutrition documentation and menu planning.
• Document activities for community integration and recreation.
• Complete documentation in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Follow prescribed reporting procedures promptly and accurately.
• Follow incident management procedures and document accordingly.
• Ensure daily schedule and routines are followed.
• Support staff handling crises and staff development.
• Model calm and professional interactions with individuals and staff.
• Participate in staff and individuals’ meetings.
• Perform additional duties as requested by Residence Manager or administration.
