GEO Reentry Services LLC in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a shift supervisor to coordinate administrative and operational security at a residential re-entry center. You will lead staff on the assigned shift to ensure adequate security coverage and compliance with post orders.

This role requires directing monitors, conducting counts, maintaining logs, coordinating training, and responding to emergencies with calm judgment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as a Monitor I or 2 years related experience preferred.
• Familiar with community correctional operations, laws and supervision principles.
• Ability to write legible English reports with proper grammar.
• Ability to plan, motivate, schedule, train and react quickly to emergencies.
• Ability to work any assigned shift.
• Ability to work with computers and facility software.

Responsibilities

• Reads and complies with post orders for the assigned post.
• Ensure resident formal counts are conducted.
• Lead Monitor staff and residents on shift; train new employees and manage leave requests.
• Report suspicious activity or absences to Security Manager or Facility Director.
• Maintain daily logs, resident in/out, visitors, and facility checks.
