Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC in New Mexico is seeking a shift supervisor to coordinate the administrative and operational security activities on a specific shift in a residential re-entry center. Effectively leads staff during the assigned shift to maintain adequate security coverage.

The role requires reading post orders, conducting resident counts, training and guiding staff, and coordinating with the Facility Director on incidents and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year as a Monitor I or two years related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.
• Must hold a current and active driver’s license.
• Ability to write legible reports in English in own handwriting, using correct grammar.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands and complies with post orders for the assigned post.
• Ensure that resident formal counts are conducted.
• Directs staff and residents during the shift and manages schedules and duties.
• Reports any unauthorized activity or absence to the Security Manager or Facility Director.
• Maintains daily logs and facility checks.
