GEO Reentry Services LLC. is seeking a shift-based security coordinator for a residential re-entry center. You will oversee administrative and operational security on a specific shift, leading staff to ensure continuous coverage and adherence to post orders.

The role requires supervision experience, ability to train staff, and effective communication with residents and colleagues. Expect rotating shifts, reports, and collaboration with security leadership to maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as a Monitor I or 2 years related experience; leadership preferred.
• Must hold a current and active driver's license.
• Familiar with community correctional operations and supervision training.
• Ability to write legible reports in English; grammar matters.
• Ability to work any assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and comply with post orders for the assigned post.
• Lead staff and residents on shift; train new employees and manage schedules.
• Ensure resident counts are conducted and staffing coverage is adequate.
• Report suspected unauthorized activity or absences to Security Manager or Facility Director.
• Maintain daily logs, records of movements, visits and facility checks.
• Coordinate training requirements and verify staff receive required training.
• Monitor safety practices and prepare safety/incident reports.
• Conduct shift meetings and maintain effective communications with staff and residents.
