The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary, depending on the position. Actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
We are committed to helping people on their path to better health through innovative health services, plans, and community pharmacy initiatives, aiming to make quality care accessible, affordable, and seamless.
