CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for higher supervisory roles. This entry-level position involves managing store crew, enhancing customer loyalty through exceptional service, and ensuring store operations run smoothly. Candidates should have a high school diploma, retail experience, and strong communication skills.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Additional requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers dependent on experience, education, location, and other factors.
