CVS Health is looking for a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare employees for supervisory positions. This entry-level role focuses on developing management skills while providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, retail experience, and strong communication skills.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management and operations training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in executing store operations and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary; actual offers depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
CVS Health is committed to helping people achieve better health through innovative health services, plans, and community pharmacy programs, making quality care more affordable, accessible, and seamless.
