CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for higher supervisory roles. This entry-level position involves developing management skills, ensuring excellent customer service, and overseeing store operations. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team by driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
