The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees become eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles involve supporting the store management team, driving store performance, and ensuring smooth operations when managers are not onsite, including opening and closing procedures.
