CVS Health is looking for a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Madison, NC. This entry-level role prepares employees for supervisory positions by developing management skills and understanding store operations. The successful candidate will help lead the store team, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure smooth operations, especially during manager absences.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop supervisory skills, complete basic management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Trainees are eligible for promotion to open Supervisor positions. These roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance, with a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, Supervisors lead store staff, ensure smooth operations, and oversee opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is required.
The pay range reflects the base hourly or annual salary, depending on the position and candidate factors.
