Job summary

ApplegreenUSA operates travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, and is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams in Maywood, New Jersey. You will ensure exceptional customer service, uphold brand standards, and enforce food safety requirements.

You will train newly hired staff, monitor cash handling policies, and support opening/closing procedures while maintaining product quality and engaging customers with cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Assist in training new team members and maintain brand standards.
