Job summary

CVS Health in Johnston, RI is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team and drive store performance through excellent customer service. This role leads staff when managers aren’t onsite and ensures opening/closing procedures are completed accurately.

The position requires strong deductive reasoning, analytical and communication skills, plus flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, and weekends. Full-time role with a competitive benefits package and hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in absence of manager to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise store staff by directing and following up on all activities.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and greet, offer help, and thank customers.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer/patient information.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs).
