Job summary

CVS Health in New York is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team, drive store execution, and build customer loyalty through excellent service. You will lead when managers are away, ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, and keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to supervise staff, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Support CVS Store Management in driving store execution and performance.
• Lead the store staff when there is no manager onsite and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the crew by assigning, directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote customer service culture.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality and handle customer relations per policy.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves and manage weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays.
• Reset departments following planograms and ensure on-shelf maintenance.
