Gerrity’s Ace Hardware in Clarks Summit, PA, is seeking a Shift Supervisor who adds leadership responsibilities to a sales role, helping open and close the store and guiding staff.

You will assist customers with personalized service, maintain stock and cleanliness, stay aware of promotions, and communicate any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail experience.
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in solving problems.
• Assist with opening & closing of the store and supervise staff.
• Forward customer complaints to management when needed.
• Provide personalized service and maintain knowledge of promotions.
• Stocking merchandise and maintaining store cleanliness and order.
• Assist with merchandise resets and layout awareness.
• Maintain knowledge of store locations and product availability.
• Support daily operations and perform other duties as assigned.
