Job summary

Papa John's in Waxhaw, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and restaurant operations to ensure high quality products and customer service, driving profitability and adherence to company policies and laws.

You will manage shift coverage, monitor product quality and costs, use the FOCUS system for cash management, and help maintain inventory levels while delivering strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform the duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to station guidelines and completes duties for each station (dough management, portioning, quality products).
• Contributes to achieving product goals and meets customer needs, following TM handbook policies (attendance, safety, security).

• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides immediate feedback to correct problems; maintains quality and costs within standards.
