Job summary

Open Arms Care in Nashville is seeking Direct Support Professionals to promote person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, implement individual support plans (ISPs) and CMS-mandated services within a collaborative team.

We offer two weeks of paid training (9A-5P, M-F) and opportunities for growth. Compensation starts at $16.50-$18 per hour with shift differentials, plus a $500 sign-on bonus for full-time and a

Responsibilities

• Represent Open Arms Care in community meetings and events.
• Organize and implement activities promoting a structured, person-centered environment.
• Make independent decisions on best practices, risk management and reporting of injuries.
• Coach, teach and mentor individuals in home management and independence.
• Support ISP execution and CMS-regulated service delivery.
• Coordinate and transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Document client participation and progress in training objectives.
• Communicate with families and internal teams for coordination.
• Attend trainings and maintain required certifications.
• Provide coverage across local operations as needed.
