Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a team during busier periods at our welcome centers. You will ensure exceptional customer service, proper cash handling, and adherence to brand standards across the plaza’s operations.

You will oversee daily tasks, train new teammates, and help maintain food safety and quality while supporting a seamless guest experience across all provided brands and services.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety rules, and company policies.
• Communicate observations or issues to plaza leadership.
• Contribute to additional duties as assigned.
