SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Missouri to support the General Manager in operations and staff development. You will train and supervise team members to ensure clean, safe, high-quality food service and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and hands-on management of shifts, inventory, and daily restaurant tasks to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet service standards.
• Adheres to the employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files, records and documentation.
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and focuses on serving the customer.
• Responds promptly to guest requests and resolves complaints with supervisor guidance.
