Job summary

Job description

Location: Stony Brook Starbucks – 101 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook, New York 11974.

Schedule: Full‑time; days and hours may vary. Availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts is preferred.

Pay Range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirement: Prior supervisory experience preferred. Willing to train.

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
