Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Shift Supervisor for the Prairie View, TX area. The role directs associates on a shift, ensures tasks meet policy standards, and oversees scheduling and training. The position is full-time with a 6:00 am–3:00 pm schedule, Monday through Friday.

Hiring candidates with at least 2 years of janitorial and 2 years of supervisory experience. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities described in

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees; encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Location: TAMU PV Jn - 100 University Drive, Prairie View, TX 77446. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 2 years of prior janitorial experience and 2 years of supervisory experience are required.
• Pay Range: $16.00per hour to$19.00 per hour.
