Compass Group USA in Mesa, AZ is hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR to direct the activities of associates on a shift at Arizona State University-Polytechnic. The role ensures policy compliance and safety while achieving quality standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm. Prior janitorial supervisory experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities, plus same-day pay options.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure completion of duties.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Serve as the contact for employee questions and time-off requests.
• Mentor staff and support advancement opportunities.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
