Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a Compass Group company, seeks a Shift Supervisor at Texas State University, San Marcos, TX. This full-time role oversees shift operations, directs associates, and ensures policy compliance while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience, strong leadership skills, and is available for 2nd or 3rd shift. Compensation includes competitive pay and benefits, with growth opportunities within the organization.

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: Texas State University - 601 University Drive, San Marcos, TX 78666. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday; 2nd shift, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. Sunday through Thursday; 3rd shift, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
