Job summary

SSC Services For Education in Mesa, AZ is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that job expectations are met in accordance with policy and procedures. You will train staff, create work schedules, evaluate performance, and prepare reports for management while maintaining quality, productivity and safety.

Position Details

• We are hiring immediately for full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR positions.
• Location: Arizona State University-Polytechnic - 6045 South Sagewood, Mesa, AZ 85212. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior janitorial supervisory experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
